The flashing red light
was on top of a bouy, still activated but obviously not in use as it was very
much up on the dock and absolutely nowhere near water. I went to investigate
and as I did I noticed a sign post. It was showing me the way back to the coast
path. With a new sense of purpose I headed off in the direction the sign
pointed. Eventually the path went from gravel to raised boards and planks. I
was really starting to feel knackered, my heels hurt and left knee started to
give. With no end in sight and my knee starting to really hurt I decided to bed
down at the first convenient location I could find. Well that wasn't for
another couple of miles.
